summer in the city

the city is different from my small cambridge. maybe it could be my home one day. for now I love cambridge's smallness and warmth and my moutain's coziness and clouds. i do know that you can get used to anything though. you can adapt even when you think it's impossible and really "not you"... the unfamiliar can become familiar rather quickly. you just have to submerge yourself and not complain. something about that place, philly&newyork, makes me want to dive in though...later on... dive into constant walking and dirty-hurting feet, dive into the starless nights, sidebyside living... the hustle. the bustle. dive into the world of many worlds... dive into the creativity and independence. it's scary, really scary but it's always those situations that are the most exciting and make the best stories later on.

(kyrie and I went to philly and new york for this last week to meet up with brae and our dear friends, mikey and dan from school. it was reallyreally wonderful. good friends are life giving.)
